Remarkable Technology Deserves a Remarkably Clear Story

San Jose Video Production

You’ve built something remarkable. Now you need the world to understand why it matters.

That’s not easy when you’re explaining AI, robotics, advanced hardware, or technology that has never existed before. Complex ideas can lose their impact in translation, and groundbreaking products deserve better than forgettable content.

Think Foundry turns that complexity into stories people understand, trust, and remember. We take projects from the first idea to the final frame, producing across San Jose and the South Bay from our San Francisco studio.

We understand what brands need in a Creative Partner.

Video Production Services in San Jose

Great production should feel easy on your side, even when there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

Think Foundry produces across San Jose and the South Bay, from Downtown and North San Jose to Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Mountain View, Palo Alto, and beyond.

We’re comfortable working wherever the story takes us. Corporate campuses. R&D facilities. Offices. Labs. Event venues. Active operational environments.

For regional shoots, access through US-101, I-880, and I-280, along with proximity to San José Mineta International Airport (SJC), makes it practical to coordinate crews, equipment, clients, and visiting stakeholders across the South Bay.

Of course, shooting where the technology is actually being built comes with a few complications.

Security needs the crew list. The prototype can’t appear in the background. An executive only has an hour. The lab still needs to operate while we’re filming.

That’s the stuff we solve in pre-production so it doesn’t become your problem on shoot day.

Telling Stories for Innovative Brands

Built for Enterprise Tech and B2B Brands

A lot of what gets built in San Jose isn’t easy to explain in a conventional commercial.

Software may have no physical form. AI can be abstract. Semiconductor and infrastructure technologies may operate at scales audiences can’t see. Robotics and hardware often need context before their significance becomes obvious.

The production team has to understand the technology before it can tell a compelling story about it.

Think Foundry works with technology brands including Nvidia, Figure AI, Standard AI, Dexterity Robotics, Data Cloud Now, and Lyra. We take the time to understand what you’re building, why it matters, and how to turn that into a story your audience can understand and care about.

Sometimes that means interviewing the engineer who understands the technology better than anyone. Sometimes it means finding a visual language for something you can’t actually see. The answer might be live action, interfaces, animation, product cinematography, or all of the above.

And when the product is confidential, unreleased, or sitting inside a restricted lab, we plan around that too.

Big companies come with a lot of moving parts.

We know how to work through them.

Executive schedules change. Legal has notes. Facilities need a crew list. Engineering can only give you an hour. The product isn’t ready until the morning of the shoot.

We handle those realities without turning them into your problem.

Built for Enterprise Tech and B2B Brands

The best projects rarely fit neatly into one category.

A single story might call for live action, interviews, animation, product cinematography, or something completely different. We’ve worked across enough industries to know when to borrow from each one and how to bring those pieces together.

The production should follow the story you need to tell, not force your story into a familiar format.

How We Handle Permits, Airspace, and Crew Compliance

Some shoots come with more homework than others.

Think Foundry handles permit coordination in-house, and our FAA Part 107-certified pilots can obtain LAANC airspace authorization for aerial work where applicable.

Some San Jose locations come with additional requirements. Event venues may have their own rules around production labor, power, load-in, rigging, and filming. Shoots in public spaces may require separate permission or road closures.

We figure out what applies before the shoot and build it into the plan. Not glamorous. Still pretty important.

We can use AI-assisted workflows, generative visuals, and hybrid live-action approaches when they offer a better way to visualize ideas, expand creative possibilities, or create something that would be difficult to capture conventionally.

Confidential Video Production

Production for prototypes, unreleased products, sensitive technology, and controlled-release campaigns. We can work within NDA requirements and plan shoots around restricted facilities, private screens, confidential information, and products that need to stay under wraps until launch.
