Producing Figure's 200-hour
F.03 Humanoid Robot Livestream
July 20, 2026
Since October 2023, Think Foundry has partnered with Figure AI to document the company's progress, beginning with F.01 taking its first steps.
In February 2025, we produced the
Helix Logistics
video that introduced F.02’s real-world application for logistics package manipulation and triage. In June 2025, we documented
one hour of continuous F.02 operation
running Helix, showcasing a wider variety of packages and a significant step toward human-level dexterity and speed.
On May 12, 2026, we got a text from Brett asking to do an 8-hour livestream to demonstrate F.03 operating fully autonomously on Helix-02. Eventually that turned into a 200-hour non-stop broadcast...

8 Hours becomes 24
Producing livestreams is something we’ve done countless times, but they’re usually less than 2 hours. Knowing 8 hours was the initial goal, we planned significant technical redundancy from the start to ensure the stream could run without interruptions or dropped connections.
We'd previously produced projects like Aurora's 1,200-mile driverless haul, building out a complex level of redundancy on the open road. This time, the challenge would be staying live as the internet became increasingly invested in the outcome.
Views across YouTube and X started to soar. Comments were nonstop. Meanwhile, the F.03 robots continued sorting packages and hot-swapping batteries as the stream kept running.
The internet named the robots Bob, Frank, and Gary.
By hour 7.5, Brett officially gave them name tags, and the decision was made to keep going for 24 hours.
The Internet Gets Involved
Over time, the fandom became increasingly real. People named robots. They picked favorites.
Shared clips. Tracked package counts. Debated outcomes.
Polymarket entered the picture
On Day 1,
Polymarket
entered with odds of 50-100 hours, 100-200 hours and 200+ hours.
Rose and Jim
On Day 2, the internet gave the next F.03 the name Rose. Rose joined the lineup, and the livestream continued building momentum.
On Day 3, "Jim" joined the growing lineup of F.03s.
We launched a merch shop
At the same time, we launched a merch shop for the Figure team. It started with a limited run of Frank shirts, before expanding into Rose and HUMAN merchandise later in the week.
100,000 packages
By Day 4, Bob hit 100,000 packages sorted. As this happened, we were getting ready for a new addition to the livestream - a new challenge was coming.
Day 5 — Man vs. Machine
On the fifth day, the Figure team proposed a direct comparison between human and robot performance.
To accomplish this, we rushed to implement a remote camera feed at another building to support a split-screen broadcast. For ten hours, intern Aime went head-to-head with F.03.
In the first showdown, the human won ... for now.
We also hit 100 hours of streaming.
A few years ago, something like this would have existed primarily as science fiction imagery. Now people leave it running in another browser tab while they work.
We posted the entirety of the stream as 9x12 hour videos in a playlist, because YouTube won’t process and publish any streams over 12 hours.
Projects like this are the exciting outliers in our world. A new category of content where operational credibility, product perception, and brand recognition come together as one.
We’ve been spending more time lately partnering with brands on unique projects across Robotics (like you saw here), AI, Defense, Autonomous Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and more. If you’re working on something interesting, we should meet. hello@thinkfoundry.com
